The third annual Infocamp took place in Seattle on Oct 10th and 11th. It is a workshop that explores the field of Usability and User Experience lead by professionals, peers and those interested in the UX field. The conference was at capacity with 350 participants; no surprise with registration fees of only $10 for students or $50 for professionals. Keynote speakers were Axel Roesler, a professor from the University of Washington and Vanessa Fox who is an authority on Google Search Engines. The event gave participants the opportunity learn and discuss the latest in the UX field and there was ample time to network with fellow professionals. I enjoyed the event and found the casual atmosphere to be a great place for discussions and to network with great people.
Infocamp is looking to expand into other cities, more info can be found on their website.
