The 28th annual Vancouver International Film Festival starts from Oct 1st – 15th and it will showcase 377 films from around the world.
Some of the special categories include:
Canadian Images – the theme is anything Canadiana,
Cinema of our time – the latest innovations and development in cinema,
Dragons and Tigers – a huge selection of movies from the Far East
Nonfiction – all type of documentaries
Spotlight on France – les films de la France naturellement!
The Way of Nature – insights on how we are ruining the planet, however this section also offers humanity hope with movies that highlight places we are saving.
A couple of friends have already emailed me their lists, I have yet to check out the listings. I’d better hurry as the good movies tend to sell out quickly. On that note, bye for now.
